POOL ALARM

Per Florida law, to safeguard children, the outdoor exits that lead to the pool area are alarmed.  The door from the breakfast area, the sliding doors in the living room and the french doors in master suite #1 are all alarmed.  There are two pool alarm controls (shown here).  One is located in near the kitchen patio door and one near the master suite french doors.

To Exit:  Press the center button.  This will disable the alarm for 30 seconds and will allow you to exit the door and close the door behind you.

To Enter:  When returning back into the house there is a button that looks like a house doorbell between the sliding doors and the kitchen door.  Pressing that button will also disable the alarm for 30 seconds to allow you to re-enter the house.

If the alarm is ever triggered then pressing any alarm button and closing all doors will silence the alarm

Note: Especially with the sliding doors to the patio.  If they are not completely closed the alarm can go off and it may appear as if the doors are closed.  In this case, simply re-open and then firmly close the sliding doors
