BARBECUE / TURN ON GAS

GrillValves

Controls to turn on the gas for the barbecue are located underneath the grill.  There are two valves that need to be operated.  The Yellow valve is the main shut-off and the black dial is a timer shut-off valve that provides a level of safety if you accidentally forget to turn off the grill.  To operate the black valve turn the dial clockwise past 20 minutes and then place it at the time you think you will need.  In the cabinet below the barbecue there are a few “Tap Lights” to illuminate the cabinet and make the task easier.

When not operating the grill we would ask that you close the yellow main shut-off valve.

Once the gas has been turned on the large dials on the grill open the gas to the burners and the small dials are the ignitors.

Note: The most commonly used burners will be the 1st, 3rd, and 5th dial which control the main cooking surface.  Dial 2 is for the rotisserie and dial 4 is for the smoker.
